Fall Pictures
In the beautiful weather we had this past weekend & the beautiful colors that are coming out in the trees...It is the perfect time to take some beautiful fall pictures...but you know how our little Amie likes to be goofy!! So - the pictures weren't all that easy to get!!
.
We started out next to the field by our house...she was FULL of spit and vinegar!!
Complete with dancing a little jig!!
Oh Miss Amie - that's a fake smile...
So I let her play around with the pumpkins a bit.
She's so darn serious at times!
Darwin thought we could get some good foliage out by the Lake & man was he right! And he found this little hill that we thought we could use to get pictures of her.
So I put the pumpkins and gourds around & started messing with angles...but you know how silly she was being!!
Finally I laid on my belly & angeled the camera upward & that was the prize picture!!
We moved down the walk way & tried a couple other shots.
Then I wanted to get a picture of Darwin and her & thought with her on his shoulders would be good. He came up the hill & then I realized I could even get the pumpkin in the picture if I went down the other side of the hill!! Kind of interesting...
Darwin then took pictures of Amie & I. This one is really nice.
And then Amie started with her hard kisses on the cheek!! Oh man is she ornery!
Then we let Amie take a picture of us - it's a little blurry - but not too shabby!!
So we're headed back home & Amie is yelling - take picture, take picture!! She wanted me to get a picture of her holding a couple of gourds!!
Grandparents Day at Amie's School!
Grandma Miller with Miss Amie at her school. They started at the school and then all headed to Bethel Baptist to eat, visit and watch the kids do their thing!
Grandma Hays watching Miss Amie color.
Principal Griffith talking to everyone.
Ut oh......The kids are supposed to stay behind while the Grandparents go into the Santuary.... Amie's not too happy...
And the tears are really flowing now!
Time for the program to start.
I am so glad we chose this school. I love everything they are doing & know that she is in great hands!!

Happy Birthday Justin!!
Happy Birthday Justin! When I told Amie we needed to stop at the store tonight to get a birthday card for Justin, she said, "Justin 5!" I said, No Justin is a little older then 5. She argued with me all the way into the store. When we got to the cards, she insisted that she get him the Ariel with the number 5 on it!!
.
To our Little Princess......Justin!! Happy 5th Birthday!!! :).
And thanks for being such a great sport!!

Creativity..
Just thought this poor little pumpkinette looked so cute....little does he/she know that it's going to be winter very soon..... He/She is just not gonna make it to jack-o-lantern status this year!
My favorite picture with colorization of the pumpkin only
The monsters in black and white
The goofy monsters in Halloween colors!

A day at the Pumpkin Patch
Here we are - at the pumpkin patch....and here are the Pumpkin Patch Girls!
.
Isabel (Tiara's neighbors daughter), Amie and Carly (Tiara's good friend's daughter). Amie has played with Carly more then Isabel - but knows them both! Aren't they so cute together! Isabel and Carly are both a year younger then Amie!
We started with the bunny hutch!! Such cute bunnies!
And here's little Emma! She's the daughter of niece Ashley's best friend....Ashleigh!! :)
Of course our biggest kid - AKA Darwin is always good for a lending a hand! It was so cute to see them walking hand in hand!!
Time to feed the goats!
Around the corner from the goats were the horses and cows. I completely missed a HUGE photo op!! As I came around the corner, this BIG rascal was just about to take a nibble of Amie's hair ribbons!! But she felt his breath & you see the look she gave him!! She wasn't sure she wanted to be that close again!
He was definitely a big boy!!
Here are our Pumpkin Heads!!!
And Darwin calls this the Phyllis Diller chicken!
"Amie want blue one"
Trying for a few photo ops.....not exactly what I wanted, but some cute ones!
"Smell the flowers" takes on a new wrinkle with that face Miss Amie!!
The boys finally got here - from left to right:
Amie, Reese, Isabel, Darrien & Carly!
More photo ops! Darrien makes such goofy smiles - you really have to work with him to get a more natural smile - this ones not bad!!
Running through the straw maze!
Stroller "Mommas" looking for pumpkins!
Ok - that ones interesting T!
"I found a good one!"
Purple wild flowers!
Searching........
It's a pumpkin and a Punkin'!!
I dearly LOVE this picture of Reese and Mason!! Such great smiles!!
But by the time we got Darrien added to the mix - Mason was pretty much done & Darrien is still doing his not so natural smile.... :(
Then we tried to get all 7 of them....but Ashley couldn't hear us from where she wondered off to...so 6 it is!
.
This first one has Isabel cut off, but I love the look that Amie and Mason are giving each other!
Here's a nice one!
And a goofy one or two or three!!
Ok - bout time to head back to the barn!
T found her new bestie!!
Darrien helping Aunt Ashley bring one of the pumpkins she's thinking about getting to the wheel barrel.....please note this IS the same pumpkin that has a little science lesson connected to it a few pictures from now.....
Pushing a wheel barrel takes a lot of work.......and help!! It would have been less work if there hadn't been so much help! ;) But it was a lot of fun for the 6 big kids...oh I mean 5 big kids!! :)
All of a sudden someone yells.....There's a "bug" coming out of that pumpkin!! And out of that little hole came....
A little white worm!! He fell to the earth & man did the kids LOVE watching him!! Needless to say....Aunt Ashley and Aunt T decided NOT to get this particular pumpkin!
Tractor Drivers!!
Girls!!
And what a perfect way to end the day.....a little baby snuggle time!!
