Amie's power point!

We are home - it was a long flight - but I made the most of it! I put together Amie's power point that her teacher can show the class tomorrow!!

I couldn't figure out how to load it as a power point, so I converted it to JPEG's and loaded as pictures.

Time to get on the cruise ship - Saturday 3-19-11

Day one on the cruise - after our morning at the condo (sunrise on the beach, shopping, swimming, laundry)..it was time to pack up and head to the pier to get on the cruise ship!

We were put into a large over crowded room to wait for boarding. Luckily there was some entertainment. The girls got things made out of Palm leaves!

Eventually we made our way on board. Had lunch at the buffet. Interestingly, we had to sign a paper at security stating that we were still willing to board the boat because 3% of the passengers and crew on the prior week had come down with Noravirus (stomach flu).

They had hand santizer machines & people squirting passengers hands all over the place!

We finally made it to our rooms. Amie liked looking out the balcony!

Isn't this interesting.....the "roof" of one of the decks is the bottom of the life boats!

That's where we entered the boat from.

And Amie got a MUCH needed nap in!

After we left port, Amie and Kylee went to Kids club. Darwin, Janet and I were sitting just off the main lobby, when all of a sudden.....three little blues clues investigators came wondering through looking for some clues!!

Time to head to bed! Isn't she the cutest Blue ever?!!

Early Morning Day Two Hawaii 2011

Friday March 18th ended by 6pm (local time) for most of us (I was asleep before 6pm). But then that means we were all up much earlier then needed on Saturday morning!! ........................................................................................................................ I was up at 2am, the rest of us were up by 5. ........................................................................................................................ Janet, Kylee, Amie and I thought we'd walk to the beach. It was a bright morning with a big full moon! The girls were loving the warmth of the morning!

But - we got a little turned around and weren't sure which direction to find the beach, and we didn't want to venture beyond the edges of the resorts.

We found a neighborhood restaurant & called Darwin to join us.

After breakfast all 5 of us got the exact directions & hit the beach!!

Out to sea, we saw the Pride of America coming into port!!

As we were heading back to the condo....it began to rain. Quickly came, quickly left.....but left us this gorgeous rainbow!

We stopped and picked up a few trinkets - Kylee wearing her lei on her head!

I got Amie her first ever pair of earrings (clip on!)

We all got a little wetter then planned at the beach, then we let the girls swim before finishing re-packing our bags to get ready for our weeklong cruise on the Pride of America!!
