First Jim Ryan - Now "Hot Rod" (as many like to call him) - Rod Blagojevich - quite the examples of politics gone bad!
"The Illinois House of Representatives have voted 114–1 to impeach Governor Rod Blagojevich. The one lone Representative voting against impeachment was Chicago Democrat Milton Patterson. It is the first time in Illinois history that a governor has been impeached. We knew something didn't smell right - our front row seat issues with this govenor was all the payroll problems that the state had. No payroll checks while he forced the senate into overtime meetings - and then no showed himself. With Darwin being a state employee -- obviously that is the side that we saw. But the rest of it is just as ridiculous! And he continues to fight to stay in power! I hope it doesn't cost too much to get him thrown out!
